چکیده
Sunscreens are a vital tool for protecting the skin from damaging effects of ultraviolet radiation (UVR). The microbiome may play an important but poorly understood role in susceptibility to sun damage, suggesting it be avenue enhancement future sunscreens. Despite this, impact sunscreens on has received little research attention. We have investigated effect viability bacteria with and without exposure UVR. Viable counts were done measure impacts four Staphylococcus epidermidis, capitis Micrococcus luteus after 2 hours exposure. photoprotective towards irradiated dose 100mJ/cm2 UVB was also measured using viable counts. all three species exposed showed average log reduction 0.38 compared those water control. No statistically significant differences between or sunscreen type identified. following single decreased 6.4% (± 1.5), 15.21% 3.9) 53.0% 11.75) original inoculum concentration, aureus, epidermidis luteus, respectively. In presence exposure, no reductions observed. This applied products tested types under test. suggests that net protective tested, providing protection while having direct
